Advanced Lesson Academy Of Golf
PRO-AM IRELAND
CONTESTANTS:
Team consists of one (1) Golf Professional and
three (3) amateurs.
Amateurs and Golf Professional can choose each
other.
All contestants must enter as a four (4)-man
team.
HOTEL:
Accommodations are at the
Killarney Park Hotel.
This country-style house is located on its own grounds in
the center of beautiful Killarney.
The luxurious interior features a library, billiards room,
and a drawing room all with blazing open fires. The
bedrooms are air conditioned and furnished with exquisite
antiques. The hotel boasts a state of the art leisure
complex, with both indoor and outdoor pools.
Killarney Park Hotel was selected as the "Best Hotel" in
Ireland.
GOLF COURSES:
Tralee Golf Club
Arnold Palmer himself is quoted as
saying "I have never come across a piece of land so
ideally suited for the building of a golf course."
The Tralee clubhouse
provides commanding views over the course, the
Atlantic Ocean,
and the spectacular Kerry coastline. Some say the
views from the members' lounge at the clubhouse are
reason enough to visit this wonderful course.
Old Head Golf
Links
The Old Head is a remarkably dramatic
piece of Ireland, a 220-acre promontory protruding
over two miles into the Atlantic Ocean. Its sandstone
formed about 350 million years ago in a shallow
tropical sea. It was the product of erosion from older
sandstone and other formations of several origins.
Waterville
Golf Links
The Waterville area and Ballinskelligs
Bay play an important part in the mythology of ancient
Ireland. According to the Book of Invasions written
about 1000 AD, Cessair, the granddaughter of Noah,
landed in Ballinskelligs Bay after the flood and
became Ireland’s first invader. Here, too, the last of
the mythical invaders, the Milesians, settled in 1700
BC and reportedly left behind many of the
archeological sites found in the area.
Ballybunion
Cashen Course
Located on the Shannon estuary, it is a true seaside
links course, virtually treeless and a course of sharp
contours throughout.

*Golf Professionals are the guests of
Advanced Lesson Academy of Golf and will receive the same
package as the amateurs plus a $500.00 appearance fee in lieu of
airfare.
PLEASE NOTE: Every attempt will be made to provide caddies. However, this
is one area that we do not have total control over and you
should be prepared to carry your golf bag or use a pull cart
should there be a caddy shortage.

72-Hole Professional Championship ($1,000.00)

TEAM PRIZES:
Team prizes consist of crystal awards engraved
with the tournament logo.
Prizes will be awarded in both Net and Gross
Divisions.
No team may win in both divisions.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Tournament field is limited to first 10 teams
entered with completed entry forms and deposit of $500.00 per
person.

AIRFARE:
Airfare is additional. Travel arrangements may
be made through your travel agent. The nearest airport to our
headquarters is Shannon Airport.
EARLY ARRIVALS & LATE DEPARTURES:
For early arrivals and late departures to The
Killarney Park Hotel, please contact the tournament office at
201-892-3278 to make special arrangements. A credit card is
required to secure your room.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Deposits will be refunded 60 days prior to the
event.

with your deposit check. Returned checks are subject to a
service charge of $30.00. A spot for your team will be
held in the tournament for seven (7) days providing a
deposit check in the amount of $500.00 per person
(excluding Golf Professionals) is received within this time
period. If your deposit is not received in this time span your
entry will be relinquished to the next team entered with
deposit.

CREDIT CARDS:
Advance Lesson Academy of Golf will accept credit cards
for payment for tournament fees with a 4% service charge.
CONFIRMATION:
Upon receipt of your entry form with deposit, a
confirmation will be mailed back to you. Approximately 60
days prior to the event you will receive a tournament
package containing your invoice and information pertinent
to the tournament.
Payments and
Confirmations
VISA is the preferred card of Advanced Lesson Academy of
Golf. Full payment is required at the time of reservation.
Please review Cancellation, Refund, and Rescheduling
Policies. A confirmation letter and additional program
information will be sent to you after your registration
and payment is confirmed.
Waiting Lists
If your desired session is filled, you can be placed on a
waiting list. Payment will not be taken until the day you
clear the waiting list and are registered for this
session. PLEASE NOTE: Individuals are not eligible for any
existing registration promotions unless they have cleared
the waiting list and have made appropriate payment before
the promotion's expiration date.
Cancellation,
Refund, and Rescheduling Policies
We reserve the right to cancel any session
within ten (10) days of the first day of that session. In
such an event, you will be provided the option of
rescheduling on a first available basis or receiving a
full refund. We will not be responsible for any loss or
inconvenience due to cancellation of session made within
ten (10) days. Schedules and staffing are subject to
change. Cancellations will be processed on the date
received by Academy Golf. Partial refunds will be given
according to the following schedule: (I) more than thirty
(30) days before the first day of the session,
seventy-five percent (75%) of the fee; (II) between thirty
(30) and fifteen (15) days before the first day of the
session, fifty percent (50%) of the fee. No refunds will
be given for cancellations received within nine (9) days
of the first day of the session. When rescheduling is
considered you will be charged the full-tuition rate. No
refunds for unused services
